    Hi,
I am a member of Chalice and a humanist. I went onto your site and looked up the word “humanism” and found nothing whioh was disappointing. I feel that Chalice is a special place filled with special people most of whom, I believe, are humanists. I hope there is room for us in your congregation. I have a strong set of morals and humanist standards. Welcome to Chalice. The Ministerial Search Committee is very high on you.
    Marty

Hi Marty! I think if you look around, you’ll see I don’t tend to label my posts, sermons, or writings by theology. If you look up the word “theism,” you won’t find anything there either! As a UU minister, it’s my job to minister to people of a wide variety of personal beliefs, because pluralism is the essence of our Unitarian Universalist faith. (I’m actually just getting ready to write a blog post on this topic, so please check back!)

Thanks for checking in, and I look forward to meeting you in person.
